Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Front-End Customer Service & Sales Associate to join our wholesale beauty supply team.  As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a critical role in representing our brand to salon owners, licensed cosmetologists, estheticians, and beauty industry owners. This position combines traditional front-end retail duties, such as cashiering and product merchandising, with specialized B2B support, including verifying professional licenses, managing  orders, and providing expert product recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all clients warmly and maintain a friendly, welcoming environment.

• Assist business owners, salon buyers, and retail customers with product navigation and selection.

• Answer incoming phone calls to address inquiries regarding product availability, wholesale pricing, and store policies.

• Resolve customer complaints or order discrepancies efficiently and professionally.

• Operate the Point of Sale system to process wholesale transactions accurately.

• Verify professional beauty credentials, state licenses, and business tax IDs for wholesale accounts.

• Restock front-end shelves, endcaps, and checkout displays to ensure inventory is continuously available.

• Ensure all beauty products, tools, and infection control products are organized, neatly faced, and properly priced according to wholesale guidelines.

• Monitor inventory levels at the front desk and report low-stock or high-demand items to management/shipping.

• Assist in receiving wholesale shipments, unboxing inventory, and organizing the stockroom as needed.

• Plan, create, and post engaging social media content (photos, reels, and stories) showcasing new product arrivals, current sales, and beauty trends.

• Collaborate with management to highlight monthly flyers, vendor events, and exclusive professional promotions.
  Stay up to date on viral beauty trends and social media algorithms to keep our digital presence fresh and relevant.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional presentation of the front-end checkout counter and beauty stations.

• Adhere to company cash handling policies, ensuring accuracy in register drawers during opening and closing procedures.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.  Vocational training in esthetics is a major plus.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a cashier role. Experience within a beauty salon, spa, or beauty supply environment is highly preferred.

• Strong interest in or familiarity with professional haircare, skincare, nail care, and cosmetics.

• Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with professional business clients and retail customers alike.

• Proficiency with retail POS systems, basic arithmetic, and computer operations (Microsoft, Quickbooks, Canva,)

• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive bending, and lift or move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.

​EDUCATOR - Waxing, Lash/Brow Tinting, Lash Lift, Brow Lamination

SkinFX is looking for a Waxing and Lash/Brow Instructor on a Sub-Contract Basis as needed to teach our Waxing and Browista Classes.  This is a subcontract hourly position, compensation is based on your experience.   No evenings or weekends.    This is a great way to supplement your part time or at home business. 

 

The instructor will be responsible for both the theory and practical components of the program, class room management, student management, conflict resolution, executing lesson plans and practical sessions, and scheduling.

Candidate Requirements: 

• High School Diploma

• Esthetics Certificate with 3-5 year experience in waxing and lash/brow tinting, lash lift and brow lamination. 

• Prefer at least 2+  years of teaching esthetics (will train the right candidate if necessary)

• Fluent in written and spoken English language

• Professional and polished appearance

• Reliable, dependable and trustworthy

EDUCATOR - Facials, Chemical Peels & Dermaplaning

SkinFX is looking for a Facial, Chemical Peel & Dermaplaning Instructor on a Sub-Contract Basis as needed to teach our Facial and Introduction to Chemical Peels and Dermaplaning Classes.  This is a subcontract hourly position, compensation is based on your experience.  No evenings or weekends.   This is a great way to supplement your part time or at home business. 

 

The instructor will be responsible for both the theory and practical components of the program, class room management, student management, conflict resolution, executing lesson plans and practical sessions, and scheduling.
