IN-CLASS LEARNING

 

Our In-House Classes & Workshops are held at our location in Edmonton, AB.  We keep class sizes VERY small to ensure your success.   Most classes include training materials, manuals, and product to get you started.  To register for class, you may call our office at 780-485-1165 or visit our showroom during business hours (fees  are due at time of registration, if applicable).  Once we receive your registration we will email you confirmation along with class details and model requirements/times (if applicable), etc.

PROFESSIONAL WAXING CERTIFICATION COURSE

$649.00

Registration includes Student Manual, Certificate,  and Waxing kit (worth over $195.00 - Wax warmer sold separately). Additional waxing products are available for purchase on class day at a 10% discount. Please note warmers are not eligible for discount.

Description: In this 2 day course you will learn topics such as anatomy and physiology of the hair and skin, contraindications, cycles of hair growth, and proper hair removal. Removal of hair to the legs, underarms, face, eyebrows (including design) and bikini (Brazilian is not taught in this class - please refer to Brazilian Waxing Class). Tips for building and maintaining a successful waxing business will be discussed. This class is heavy on practical training and training is provided in both strip wax and stripless wax. You will also learn proper salon and spa infection control procedures in accordance with Health Canada.

 

Prerequisites: None

 

Requirements: You are required to provide 2-3 models between both class days. Student and waxing models must have 1/4 inch hair on arms, legs, eyebrows etc. Models are recommended to have exfoliated skin in the area(s) to be waxed. Ensure models have not taken Accutane within the last 6 months and are not diabetic. Additional details to be discussed upon registration. This is a Certification Course, practicum assignments are required in addition to passing a written exam.

Class Dates:    November 21 & 22  2022, January 16 & 17  2023, February 13 & 14, 2023,  March 6 & 7 2023,  April 3 & 4, 2023,  June 26 & 27 2023.

Class Times: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Student Quota: 4 Students

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST BE OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE IN ORDER TO ATTEND ANY OF THESE CLASSES. PLEASE READ OUR CLASS POLICIES BEFORE REGISTERING. SPACES ARE LIMITED - REGISTER EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. WE TAKE A MAXIMUM OF 4 STUDENTS FOR CERTIFICATION COURSES AND A MAXIMUM OF 8 STUDENTS FOR WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS.

  • CERTIFICATION COURSES REQUIRE IN-CLASS MODELS & PRACTICUM ASSIGNMENTS (DUE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF CLASS COMPLETION).

  • SEMINARS ARE INFORMATION SESSIONS ONLY - NO DEMOS OR HANDS-ON PRACTICE.

  • WORKSHOPS ARE INFORMATION SESSIONS WITH HANDS-ON PRACTICE  (NO MODELS REQUIRED).
